MAKING MEMORIES WHILE HAVING FUN has been the goal for DAVE LANDEO & THE SOL BEATS! For the last several years, Dave and his entourage have played everything from wedding receptions, corporate events, festivals, holiday parties, fraternity/sorority events, birthdays, tailgates and anything in between. Together with his solo, duo and band act, he has tallied over 3,000 shows!
The various performances have enabled him and his band to meet people all over the US and abroad. These experiences have been the groundwork for the band's professional attitude and positive approach.

Dave resides in the Low Country of Charleston, SC, being a transplant from Tennessee. His first professional gigs came at age 16 in his hometown of Nashville. He then ran through a string of touring bands based out of Knoxville, where he graduated from the University of Tenn., was an officer in his fraternity, and served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. Knoxville remains a home at heart and is the town where he expanded his musical endeavors as a band leader, lead vocalist, lead guitarist, bassist and drummer with various groups, as well as accomplished solo act, throughout the years, and won accolades such as Best Male Vocalist (in consecutive years) and Best Bassist in area media awards.

Joining him in the band are BRYON MOORE on Bass Guitar and Lead/Back Vocals, CHRISTY LANDEO on Lead/Back Vocals, BOBBY HOGG on Lead Guitars, and MARKUS HELANDER & MATT JOB on Drums and Percussions. Bryon can mesh a Steely Dan bass riff while carrying the lead vocal, Christy brings lead vocals and enthusiasm to everything from 80's power rock songs to today's party dance tunes. Bobby performs his flavor of electric leads over songs such as a standard bluegrass hit to a James Brown funk groove.... Matt and Markus bring a strong rhythm arsenal to all styles the band plays. Available upon request are sax and keyboard musicians. All bringing together a strong presence with their renditions of classic pop, funk, rock, dance, country, reggae, beach and overall FUN MUSIC for their audience.

Incorporating his ability to interact with the audience, as well as perform a wide variety of music (both covers & originals), Dave and the band's chameleon approach is nothing if not entertaining. Making sure a GREAT TIME is had will always be the priority of DAVE LANDEO & THE SOL BEATS!
