For more than a decade, The Torpedoes have reigned as one of the Midwest's premier rock and roll acts. Their critical acclaim and numerous awards stand as testimony to their professionalism and showmanship.
The Torpedoes are a rock and roll show group playing classic hits spanning the golden decades of rock and roll. Their spirited presentation and vocal arrangements have earned them numerous music awards, critical acclaim and even inspired a cartoon by the syndicated cartoonist, Sanders.
The Torpedoes have appeared with several national acts and have performed at the Milwaukee Performing Arts Center, the Madison Civic Center, Veteran's Memorial Stadium in Des Moines, the Rockford Metro Center and the University of Wisconsin Fieldhouse. They have headlined shows at the Dane County Coliseum, the Wisconsin State Fair, Milwaukee's Summerfest and have performed for the McDonald's National Convention at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago. Two of the band's performances were featured on PBS-TV.
