Hi John, I just wanted to have a personal communication with you about TFC. I would like to use the word stupendous to describe every aspect of their performance last night. The mix was absolutely perfect as were the levels throughout the evening. Their choice of material was perfect as was the overall performance and musicianship. They worked the crowd and moved the energy of the evening along so nicely. The first set blew me away with their selection of songs, perfect for warming up the crowd as they started to fill the room. It was such a pleasure to hear Dee sing, she has such a "real" voice, not your typical club date singer for sure. Listening to her sing Gladys Knight's "Neither one of us" gave me goose bumps. AS they moved into their dance sets the energy was masterful , the tempos were unwavering solid in the pocket, something that usually drives me nuts with most dance bands.
I know I'm using the word perfect a lot here, something you won't usually hear me do as you know, but as a 30 year veteran of the music business I was amazed that I could not find anything I would change, do differently or improve on. Whatever didn't work well at the 3rd Thursday event was nowhere to be found last night. Everyone enjoyed the band and had a great time , it really raised the bar for our holiday party, and many people have told me this was the best party yet. Not to take anything away from all the hard work and contributions of everyone planning and working this event , but I feel TFC was a huge part of making this one stand out as special.
I'm sure you are going to hear from Janis if you haven't already, she was truly blown away. There were a few key people who were very concerned about volume going into the evening, and they all told me throughout the evening that they thought the volume was perfect from beginning to end.
Aside from all of the business stuff, I just have to say that these are the greatest friendly and open group of people to work with and to get to know. They made me feel like one of the family, and I feel I have made some wonderful friends. I look forward to working with them again and I'd love to go see them play whenever they have a public gig somewhere in central VA.
I will certainly recommend them, and please feel free to use me as a reference for my new friends the TFC Band.

Lynn - Thanks for checking. I would give them a large share of the praise for making our reception fantastic. Almost every person at the reception told us how much they enjoyed the band. They were the perfect blend of fun and crazy while still maintaining the level of class that we wanted our reception to have. Basically we couldnt have been happier with their performance at the reception. On top of that they were very easy to work with before the show happened. In terms of picking different songs and working through their play list. We were very pleased with their enthusiasm to want to play at our party and their willingness to work with us on a few things prior to the event. I have literally never seen that many people dancing the entire night and having such a great time. This includes all of the weddings I've been to and fraternity parties back in college.
I really don't have anything bad to say at all. They were wonderful. Thank you also for your help in getting them for us. It was a very pleasant experience working with both you and TFC.
I am not one to avoid criticism usually but there isnt a single thing I can think of that would have made our experience with TFC any better. Thanks,

TFC and John Hodges were fabulous. Totally professional and musically incredible on one of the most brutally hot nights that I have ever experienced. If it tells you anything, when it was all said and done, the dance floor was FULL on a night that anyone with good sense would have gone home ten minutes after the party started . . . 100 degrees outside under a tent with 100 percent humidity. As it was, we were full and rocking because of such a great band.
Please use us as a reference for TFC any time. We had an attendance of 250 people who would agree! Thank you for a beautiful night for our beautiful daughter. We will never forget it!

Our son's wedding was this past weekend and his lovely bride hired the band TFC for their reception.
This band was AMAZING! Everyone loved them! TFC are wonderful musicians with tunes that kept everyone dancing and happy during the entire event. They played a wide variety of songs with just the right mix of slow and fast music. They were friendly people with personality too. All ages enjoyed their entertainment.
I would very highly recommend TFC for any event where you want professional and entertaining musicians, with the highest level of fun you could ever want.

Hi Sonny - the attached comments are from my wife. Let me also reiterate everything she says. TFC was the perfect choice for the wedding in every respect. Based on the reaction from our many friends who will be having weddings over the next couple of years, I have no doubt we will see them very soon! Not only did they sing Don't Stop Believing for my daughter (referenced below), they also learned "Apples, Peaches Pumpkin Pie" for me - a real treat.

Erik and I are thrilled with our daughter's wedding and reception. As we have received thank you notes and calls our band, Time For Change/TFC is always mentioned. They were truly fantastic, and had all the guests on their feet...even the two 89 year old grandmothers! John was a pleasure to work with...so kind, calm, professional, and talented. Our daughter asked if TFC would learn their song, " Don't Stop Believing" by Journey. Not only did they learn it John came down with the crowd who surrounded him and sang along- it was a great and fun moment! I have attended a lot of weddings, but my daughter's was the first where when the band said good night they begged for "ONE MORE SONG!!"....and TFC graciously complied. I would without any reservation recommend TFC to clients who want their guests to celebrate and have fun. We sure did.

SOrry it has taken me some time to get back to you, it's been a crazy summer! TFC was absolutely all we could have hoped for and more! The crowd loved them and they were exactly what we were looking for for a fun and entertaining evening. I would recommend them to anyone planning an event! TFC was wonderful! Everyone danced and had a ball. They were so much fun, very engaging, and extremely easy to work with. They learned a song that my husband and I really wanted for our first dance and mingled with guests during their breaks. They knew when to speed things up or slow them down. John was great on the phone before the wedding-very reassuring and accommodating. They were tons of fun, but not so overwhelming that they detract all of the attention away from the party and guests. They encouraged people to get on the dance floor, then kept them there by playing great song after great song. They were also very well-dressed and dapper, fitting in very well at The Greenbrier. Thanks for much for the recommendation! I will definitely use them again. Please give them my highest praises.

On October 11, 2008 our daughter, Melissa Rosetta and David Boyd were married at the Highland Lake Inn in Flat Rock, NC. Below are some comments about TFC, the band that played during the reception.
To summarize in one word, they were "Fantastic". They mixed their music up well and kept the reception in an upbeat mode all night long. We had 150 guests and many of them danced most of the night. All the comments I've received from the guests were highly favorable with many requesting more info on TFC. Our daughter and son-in-law loved them and they were the most important people to please. When they concluded play, they received a resounding round of applause from the guests of which very few left early. They made quite a few new friends!!
In conclusion, we'd like to thank East Coast Entertainment and "TFC" for helping make our event a memorable and resounding success. We both would highly recommend TFC for any event of this nature!!

TFC was awesome, they were really nice people, they were professional and courteous and got set up really quick. Because we had a golf tournament going on, they had trouble completing a sound check, but it did not bother them a bit. They were great to work with.
They sounded really good too; our crowd enjoyed them so much that we paid for an extra hour because our guests were having so much fun. Tell John I said thank you again, and we will certainly book them again in the future.

I just wanted to write a quick note and thank you for everything- Schuyler and I had such an amazing time at the wedding, and we owe a lot of it to the band. John, I didn't get a chance to chat with you at the wedding (I was too busy dancing) but we were so happy with you guys- TFC was incredible. You all were so much better than we had even hoped, your video does not do you justice!! Everyone at the wedding said how much they loved the band, and you had every generation on the dance floor. We wanted to let you know that the TFC Band was wonderful! They really know how to have a good time and helped our guests have a good time too. They threw a great party and were very easy and fun work with. We had over 200 guests all of them were dancing during the wedding. And we had lots of people comment on their fantastic performance afterwards.
