Hi Ted - We cannot rave enough about SkateRink Jukebox! From their efficiency to
professionalism to their ability to play great music; they are an all
around great group of guys and wonderful musicians. I would highly
recommend them for any function. Prior to our wedding they were in touch
via telephone and email ensuring what genre of music and particular songs
we'd like played. The day of the wedding they were extremely organized,
arriving on time to set up and were conscious of the schedule of events but
also were flexible to change anything as needed. Guests frequently came to
us during the evening and told us how impressed they were with the jazz set
the band played during dinner as well as the more upbeat/dance music post
dinner. The dance floor stayed packed because of the great music. They
played something for every age which is what we wanted. Thanks so much for
recommending them- it is exactly what we were looking for!

Hey Ellie - Skate Rink JukeBox did a great job. Couldn't have made a better choice. They played a great mix of songs that got everyone dancing. They also learned songs just for us and did a wonderful job. We were sad when they had to stop playing. Donnie was also easy to reach before the event and was happy to answer any questions we had. Please tell the other members how much everyone enjoyed themselves. Your voices were wonderful...we loved all you selections. You were so flexible to play Meghan singing and kind to learn a new song for the mother/groom dance.
The whole evening at Eseeola was perfect and a lot of that was because of you. You certainly have the gift of music. Thank you and your entire band for sharing it with us at such a special occasion.

We loved Skate Rink! I had a lot of great comments from guests and volunteers and the dance floor stayed packed after dinner! The light jazz was perfect while guest were arriving and getting settled. They were also extremely friendly and helpful!

You really put on a fantastic show. Everyone has been talking about how great the band was this year! My wife and I are really into live music, and one of the reasons we chose your band for the party is that your clips on the eastcoastentertainment website made it quite apparent to us that you're a VERY musically talented bunch, both as individuals and as a group, and that you excel within a very wide range of musical styles. It certainly showed at the party!

The wedding was wonderful, thanks! Skate Rink Jukebox was awesome. They were so professional the whole time leading up to our wedding and did everything we asked of them. They were also very helpful in conducting the reception itinerary as we didn't have a wedding planner. I gave Donnie a schedule of events and they were on top of keeping everything perfectly on time which took a lot of stress off of me and my husband so that we could just enjoy our evening. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

They were awesome! The dance floor stayed packed all night. Would highly recommend them. They talked prior to our event with our daughter to ensure that the music was what she and her groom wanted. Very cooperative in every way. I'm copying our daughter in case she wants to add anything when she gets back from her honeymoon. Everything at Old Edwards is first class! Although late, I figured better late than never...THANK YOU!!!! You guys were such a wonderful part of our wedding celebration. We have gotten so many compliments on your performance, and even a Facebook posting saying "best band ever!" Carey Sims and Skate Rink Jukebox recently played at my wedding reception on December 20, 2008. He was personally referred to me by a mutual friend. I have been told by the guests at the reception that the music was the best part and made this event memorable...and I have to agree completely.
Carey's professionalism is outstanding. He was very responsive to my emails and/or phone calls leading up to the reception. He was always willing to work with me on any suggestions and even learned a new song that I requested. He was very flexible to all different music selections and has a very good range of song selections that could suit anyone.
I cannot begin to tell you how many guests complimented Carey. Everyone enjoyed their music and their sound. They were able to set the mood and tone of the event. My friends and family are very hard to please and they were extremely impressed with these guys. I found myself giving several people Carey's contact information for future events. What my guests walked away with are not memories of the food, but how much they enjoyed the music. I'm looking forward to seeing him play again in the future.
I would highly recommend him to play at any event or venue and I promise you will not be disappointed.

I'm glad you followed-up because I definitely wanted to let you know that Jack and I could not have been happier about having Skate Rink Jukebox as the band for our wedding reception!! They did a fantasic job performing the song they learned for our first dance and the remainder of the evening was great as we loved their playlist. Even though we had a small reception, the dance floor stayed crowded - the music even attracted other guests from the club who wanted to come in to dance. The event manager at the country club raved that they were the best band they had ever had perform there. We would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a band for their next event...
