The show was fantastic. We had a completeley sold out house with 75 on the waiting list. It was the largest opening event Alma College has had in 7 years. The performers were all wonderful to work with and incredibly talented. I hope they all made it back to the city safely. I cannot begin to express how happy I was with how the whole evening turned out. Please send me a catalog of all the shows and acts you represent as school administrators have already asked me if we could bring back Second City next year. Thank you so much, everything was perfect.

The show was fantastic and exactly the kick start that our season needed to improve our student interest in the season. The troupe performed to a sold out, standing room only crowd of 669 people. This was only the third sell out in the performance hall since the hall opened in 2001. The troupe was fantastic and timely taking the opportunity to include many local references and school related material into their performance. The workshop with our own student improv group was awesome. They even invited the students back on stage during their third act to participate in several skits & improv games with them. I couldn't thank them enough for helping us kick off the season with an astounding success. Definitely a show I would recommend to others and have back at Davidson.

I am a Company Commander currently deployed to Baghdad Iraq. Tonight The Second City Comedy Troup from Chicago performed for the Soldiers here on Camp Iron Horse. I'd never heard of your group before, although I certainly recognize some of it's alumni, but after tonight your actors earned a permanent place in my memories. Politics aside, our Soldiers are here in Baghdad desperately trying to help an impoverished nation. They do so under some horendous circumstances, and many of our friends have been wounded and killed in the 9 months we've been here. We've seen first hand the horrors of Saddam and his regime, and of the insurgency we're battling against. The thoughts of what we have seen, and what we've had to do, haunt us. Tonight though, your six actors, and their supporting crew made us all laugh. They made us laugh harder than we have in a long, long time. For an hour tonight, your crew took the best, and worst our young Soldiers could throw at them, and left them rolling in the aisles. For an hour tonight, our Soldiers were back home watching a comedy troup perform a thousand miles from danger. I want you to know that I appreciate what those actors did tonight. It means a great deal to my Soldiers, and to me. Please pass along my thanks to those individuals who performed for us tonight, they were all very talented, and I fully expect to point them out to my family at home while watching a television show, or a movie, as having been part of the group who performed for Daddy while he was in Iraq.

Thank you so much for all of your help in bringing The Second City. The two shows were huge successes with great attendance and good media coverage. Audience members ranged in age from senior citizens to teens and every group in between. Judging by the boisterous laughter both during and after the performances, our audience was absolutely thrilled with the show.
