Permanent Vacation is an experienced six-piece cover band (four College of Charleston Alumni) from Charleston, South Carolina with an energetic attitude and an entertaining performance. Our variety of well-known songs guarantees a great time at every show. We separate ourselves from other bands through our broad range and diversity of songs. Our sets consist of various cover songs from beach music, to the classics, to modern favorites.

We aim to please our clients in any way possible. We adjust our sets to be the perfect match for every occasion. Our main goal is to get everyone dancing and singing along to the songs that they already know and love! Whether you are hosting an oyster roast where shag tunes are need, a large party where you just want to rock, or an intimate wedding or anniversary where love songs and variety are required, we are well suited for your event!

Our extensive experience has ranged from back-porch private parties to concerts for the thousands. We continues to supply the entertainment for numerous weddings, corporate events, charity vents, fraternity & sorority socials, and even high school proms. Just wanted to let you know what an outstanding performance was given at my daughter's wedding reception on May 24th....I had more folks come up to me tell me what a great band....I didn't know if it was the liquor talking or the truth! HA!!! Anyway, at the end of the night I saw several folks ask Mike for their business card. Thanks again for your fantastic web site, the ease of interaction between the wedding couple with song requests. It was overall a very professional experience. Would highly recommend, not just Permanent Vacation, but also, East Coast Entertainment.

They were fantastic. We had more people say that they were the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. They were in tune with the group and played accordingly. An example, our daughters name is Caroline and when they played sweet Caroline and saw that the whole dance floor was singing the chorus to her they went with the crowd by getting out on the dance floor and really getting everyone involved in singing the song. It was great. They carried the whole evening by getting everyone involved and informed on what was going on. The band was one of the more difficult things to choose, being that we never heard them before, they trned out to be one of the best things we chose. Thanks for everything, they made the evening.
