Papa Sol was FABULOUS! They were so professional and set up at 5:00. They worked the crowd soooo well! Young and old loved them. We loved that they mixed Motown up with modern music. I am Cathy Clement, mother of the bride of the wedding that Papa Sol played for on June 19th in Thibodaux, LA. I just want to say "thank you so very much" for the absolute best band performance of any wedding I've ever attended! You guys were just fantastic - totally awesome! Everyone had the BEST TIME. It was so great how you had the whole audience involved, and allowed any/all of the wedding party and guests to participate. I have heard over and over again how great the band was! Michael and Brittany had the time of their lives with you on the most special day of their lives, and they have repeated this to me numerous times, even now while they are on their honeymoon. In talking with you, you all were such a pleasure to work with, so professional, patient, and absolute gentlemen/lady, while always making sure that the audience was completely entertained by your MOST TALENTED group of singers and musicians. Again, I cannot thank you enough for doing all you did to make this the most special event for my daughter and son-in-law. Please pass on my gratitude and praises to all the members of the band.

I cannot tell you how PHENOMENAL Papa Sol was last night. Professional, kind, low maintenance, and unreal performers.

At the end of the night the lead singer went around and shook every staff members hand and said how great they were….we’ve never had that here.

The wedding this past weekend was FABULOUS -- Papa Sol was nothing short of incredible. The crowd of 325 went from the ages of 2 years to 88 years and EVERYONE had fun dancing. They are high energy, engaging with the crowd, happy, and ready to do whatever their client wants to make their event a success. Shyrod is professional; he was on time and did everything he said he would do for our daughter's wedding. The music was appropriate for the audience and was not too loud as so often one finds at weddings or dances. I just wanted to write a quick note to tell you how FABULOUS Papa Sol was at our wedding on Kiawah Island! I was so impressed with their sheer presence and of course the outstanding singing! My entire reception was dancing, singing and having a ball the entire time! They allowed everyone to get on stage, sing and dance with them, including me, the bride! Nothing will make me smile in the years to come, more than the pictures of my friends and family dancing like crazy. Sherod was AWESOME. He is probably the NICEST person that I have ever had to work with regarding a band or any other kind of vendor. The whole band was really a crowd pleaser. But again, I can’t say enough about Sherod. He was professional and adaptable. We had some limitations due to the venue, but it did not bother him in the least. He just really impressed me not only his professionalism when dealing with me, but also his talent. I was truly impressed (and I am a hard sale). I am not sure what Columbia Heart’s plans are for next year, but we will DEFINITELY keep Papa Sol on our radar. It was truly a pleasure.

Papa Soul rocks. They could not have been better. They played all of the right songs. No oops. Shyrod even called me on the Monday before the wedding to confirm all details. And, that was just to put my mind at ease. Courtney, the bride, danced all night long. She was wondering if James Brown had jumped into her body because she was doing moves she had never done before. She was awesome due to the music. The energy was infectious. The whole place was dancing. The best thing is that they decided not to take any breaks after 9:30 and played nonstop until 11pm. They said they did not want the energy to subside and everyone was having a blast. Our guests raved and have been calling to ask again who they were. We are definitely giving your name and theirs out to everyone. I guess you were right when you said after many selections of bands, "Now, you are onto a great band." Thanks for helping us pick the best band.

On the way back to Atlanta, I kept thinking about what kind of party or gala I could put on here to have yall play again. haha I'm still working on it. :) You all truly made my wedding the dream I had hoped for, and it definitely went down in the Mobile history books as the most fun wedding ever!!
