Sometimes meteors are mistaken for stars while real stars go unnoticed until you're close enough to see how bright they shine. Michel Jons is that far away star, moving ever closer to the moment in time she claimed long ago. Never mind the spotlight she's bringing her own illuminating talent and powerful voice to enlighten the ears, minds and hearts of the world. Michel is writing her own history due to her ability to own a song. She is an ultimate song stylist inspired by but not emulating the great vocalist from the past and present. Tina, Aretha, Patti, Gladys, Chaka, Billie, Natalie, Etta and even Patsy Cline were major influences for Michel and you can hear them all when she opens her mouth to sing. And sing, she has; 15,000 people at the Narni Music Festival (with William Bell and Trudy Lynne) in Italy, 10,000 at Phillips arena (sang the National Anthem) before an Atlanta Hawks game, 30,000 during the 1996 centennial Olympic Games, 12,000 at the Sweet Auburn Festival and well over 100,000 people when she's performed at the Atlanta Pride Festival (with CeCe Peniston and Debbie Gibson). Large numbers are great but Michel has performed every year for television and movie actress Sela Ward's birthday party at her residence with fifty people in attendance. Michel has opened for: The Gap Band, Howard Hewitt (formerly of Shalamar), Percy Sledge, Chaka Khan and Georgia Music Hall of Fame Inductee "William Bell" during his induction as well as sang background on one of his recent CD releases and toured Italy with him.

I can't compliment the band enough!! Wow, what a great time was had by all. We could probably have gone for another couple of hours. Everyone loved the entertainment and I think the dance floor proved it. We will definitely recommend them in the future to anyone that may be looking. Thanks do much for everything!!

We just got back from our honeymoon yesterday! Michel Jons was outstanding! I have gotten compliment upon compliment about the band...many friends who are getting married in the next year seemed very impressed and interested in the band. They were easy to work with and highly entertaining. Michel even played some special requests for my dad that they had to learn and it was a surprise for my family. They were a total hit.
They also played at my brother's wedding in Hilton Head 3 years ago and we knew then that if we were able to get this band for my wedding that we would. They truly made the night! I have not received any pics from the photographer yet but I plan on sending the band pics to Michele. I would recommend them to anyone.

Michel Jons was amazing!!! She kept the crowd dancing and played a great mix of songs. Her band knows how to read the crowd, what music to play, and when the best time to take breaks. I would HIGHLY recommend them. I have gotten several emails and phones calls stating how awesome our wedding band was. Eric and I had so much fun dancing with everyone that night. Also, the way she ended was awesome - Did a special tribute to Eric and I.
We talked to Michel Jons several times before the wedding and she was always responsive and answered all of our questions.

I really don't have any suggestions for Michelle and the band. The band was energetic, friendly and fun yet very professional. They kept the crowd rocking thru the last song! They really did a great job of combining standard 70'/80's funk with contemporary hip hop that kept everyone out on the dance floor. I can't tell you how everyone commented on how fantastic the band was even though a number of people had heard them before including the bride and groom. They and their friends loved it which made the night a great success! Thanks for your help and I would certainly recommend them with high praise!

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed the Michel Jons Band. She was the most professional person I have worked with. The music was out of this world GOOD. I had 130 guests, my phone has rang off the hook. Everyone was to know when they can come back to the mountains. All of my friends said they were absolutely the best band they had ever heard. I agree. You know we book a lot of bands, but this was a great choice.

I just wanted to drop a quick word of thanks again to you and your wonderful band. You all provided "a night to remember" for us and we are so appreciative! You guys have a good thing going because you really know how to respond to the crowd and I think that helps to make you a great band. Not to mention that each of you is so very talented!! In years past, we have heard many complaints after the dance that the band was so loud that people couldn't talk or visit, particularly through dinner.
