MVP or Most Valuable Players is a high energy dance band with members that have been a part of major accomplishments in the music business. The musicians and vocalists of MVP have recorded with or shared the stage with such greats such as Patti Labelle, Trey Songz, James Brown, George Clinton and Parliament/Funkadelic, The Gap Band, Lloyd, Kurtis Blow, Keith Sweat, Lakeside, Too Short, Lil John and the Eastside Boys, Widespread Panic and many more.

MVP specializes in a variety of different styles of music. Their song list consists of Motown, Beach, classic R&B, Rock, 1970's and 1980's dance floor favorites, as well as hip-hop and contemporary dance music, depending on the type of event. MVP's high-energy choreography adds a visual element to compliment the dance music.

They were somewhat higher that our usual budget, but following dance and since, everyone I raves about the band, saying it was AWESOME, best band ever, what excellent vocalists they had, very versatile, etc., so hopefully, that means it was worth it! (You always have to trade off something else, which either means food or alcohol.) Torrance was easy to work with and the other band members also were personable and pleasant! Several people got their cards and others have asked where we found them. I certainly would recommend them, and I suspect we will want them again.

Ted - Thank you for asking! We thoroughly enjoyed having MVP perform at the 2012 Bay Heart Ball! They played a soft jazz dinner set for us, then played a high energy post presentation dance set that everyone loved! The crowd stayed and the Chairs of the event loved the band. I would highly recommend them since they were so entertaining and also great to work with. They rolled with our timeline changes without any problems, which was very much appreciated. I will be passing along their information to some of our other offices so they can perhaps use them in the future. Thanks again!
