Hot Sauce is composed of five very experienced, seasoned professionals who all ended up residing in Charlotte, NC. The band includes one Charlotte native, and four more musicians from California, New Orleans, and New York. Individually they have worked with many national artists and performed in many high profile settings; Tesla, Flame, Bar Seven, James Taylor, Yes, The Moody Blues, Arlo Guthrie, Al Jarreau, Brian Wilson, the Billy Joel Broadway show, to name a few.
With a common interest in keeping their base in Charlotte, NC and a thriving market for cover bands in the region, the band decided to fill a void by fusing the genres of 70s, 80s, 90s, and current hits into one extra large bag of popcorn fun and party madness. Inspired by friends from the band Wonderbread 5 in California, Hot Sauce dons different thematic costumes for every set and insists that every audience join their party. After putting their own unique spin on this party tested formula, Hot Sauce has stormed into the corporate and private event market with a party magic that is new, fresh, and IRRESISTIBLE!!

Hi Phillip - Thank you very much for performing at our Gala again this year, we absolutely love having Hot Sauce and our guests sure do too! Of course, we were happy to tip you guys for such a great job! Thank you for your compliments, it really was a great event, we were so pleased! And happy to announce that this year's event raised more than $63,000 with 205 guests in attendance!!! Which helped us reach our goal of a 5-year grand total of $275,000 raised for lupus. That is nearly 63,000 new opportunities to help those affected by lupus. Hey Philip - Thanks again for being such an awesome band! Y'all are what made the reception so awesome!!! Like I said on the phone, I cannot thank y'all enough for everything.
I still run in to people that came to the wedding and they always comment on how awesome y'all were!

There were people dancing that I have never in my life seen dance, and they were dancing the entire night! My husband and I can't stop talking about how awesome ya'll were, and I cant tell you how many people have told me that they haven't had that much fun in a long time. Phillip - I wanted to thank you and Hot Sauce for a great performance at Lauren's wedding reception on November 5. We have received so much feedback of what a great experience it was, and how Hot Sauce made the reception. You guys got the crowd going right from the start, and I have never seen a dance floor that packed throughout the entire night! Not only was that evening fantastic, but your attention to detail and responsiveness leading up to the reception was spectacular. I felt so confident that every detail was covered, and that you listened and followed through on our requests. Given all the details that needed to be addressed with a wedding and reception, it was very comforting to know that our music and overall reception agenda would be handled as well as it was.

While I surely don't have the experience with bands that my son does, if there is a group out there that is remotely in the same class as you guys....I would have to see it and hear it before I could ever believe it. Phillip - Let me first say that words cannot express what it meant to my parents and I to turn around and see you holding my sister's hand and dancing and singing with her. You and the band are a truly amazing group of people.
Next, you guys KILLED IT!!! Absolutely KILLED IT!! From the very beginning to the end y'all had the dancefloor packed from start to finish, exactly what we wanted!! There wasn't a single person in the room who did not complement the band, y'all even had everyone yelling encore at the end of the set...that doesn't happen at weddings! During the last song, Melissa and I turned around to take it all in, and it was amazing to see the dancefloor packed with people. I tell ya, we have a lot of friends getting married this summer and i'm pretty sure you guys made them very nervous, because y'all set the bar VERY high!!! Don't be surprised if they end up calling you!
I cannot thank you and the rest of the band enough for being willing to move the date and doing whatever it took to make this happen for Melissa and her family. You certainly didn't have to but it sure says a lot about who you guys are as people that you did.

Hot Sauce - I just wanted to say thank you so much for your brilliant performance at William and my wedding at the Duke Mansion on May 21, 2011. You all rocked! The song selection was right on. Your performance was energetic, exciting and entertaining. You got our guests on the dance floor all night long. People did not want to leave. I do not like to be just average. This is a bit over due, but it has been tough getting back to reality after the wedding and honeymoon. Hot Sauce played our July 10th wedding in Chapel Hill and I just wanted to let you know how absolutely blown away everyone was by them! They were so great to work with and they literally had every single person out on that dance floor all night long. I have never seen my parents friends or older relatives stay at a wedding until the bitter end, but everyone stuck around at ours because they were having so much fun dancing. They really made our reception a total party and we could not have been more pleased. We got so many compliments on them all night long! I am so grateful for you help in booking them and so grateful to Dennis and the guys for making our wedding a night to remember!
