Deja Vu
Artist ID: 1123
Established in the Spring of 1988, this group of seasoned
musicians formed "Deja Vu" with the idea of breaking the mold of the usual "Carolina Top 40/Beach Band". Drawing its talent from the "SPICE OF LIFE", "SNEAKY", AND "MONK AND THE MANIACS" show bands, this group has left a trail of "want 'cha backs" In it's brief history.
With a belief that people want to be entertained rather than just listening to a band play music, this group has succeeded in breaking away from the clientele having to hear what the band had to play, to playing what the
clientele wanted to hear.
No job is too large or too small!! "Deja Vu" is capable of playing the most intimate of social gatherings, or making the largest events a smashing success!
Please take time to review "Deja Vu's" song list. If you are still unsure of what group is right for your entertainment needs, take time to read some of the recent reviews from previous jobs. After all, actions do speak louder than words!!

Hi Ellie,
The band was great. Everyone loved them. I think the Rolling Stones set to close out the night was a big hit.
We fed them well -- Prime Rib.
Thanks for everything. I'll be in touch when we need another band.
Happy New Year!

Hey Chris!
They were AMAZING!! At first they were playing more jazz type music and once the sophomores, juniors, and seniors got there They started playing shag music and oldies/rock and it was great.. literally EVERYONE was on the dance floor. The representatives from the Columbia Museum of Art said that they host tons of wedding receptions and other sorts of parties and thought that they were INCREDIBLE. We were also very impressed with them.. they were great! We will definitely be interested in booking them again next year. It has been great working with you this year.. thank you for making my job so easy!

It is amazing how many members said it was one of our best parties ever.
We had many compliments on the band.
We will schedule them for future events.

To answer your question...we could not be happier. Deja Vu was perfect for the reception, and they put on quite a show. Steve was right when he told me that everyone is always happy when they have them for their event. I personally would also recommend them without reservation.
We really appreciate Rick's assistance with playing our 1st dance song, as well as her dance with her father. We have already been asked several times since we've returned "who was that band?" Again, they helped make the reception that much more fun, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

They were completely professional, played requests and kept the party going. We asked them to perform an hour longer as we were having such a wonderful time. Many thanks for making this occasion so memorable.

They were amazing - People are still talking about how great they were. Rick was very easy to deal with, and they struck exactly the right note. Even my dad was impressed!
