We are still trying to recall our wedding day – everything is such a blur – but the band was awesome! The trumpet voluntary was perfect and everyone commented on how that really set the tone and how beautiful it was. I believe in all they ended up playing an hour longer because Charlie’s mom was having such a good time!! After the ceremony had ended we had to do our photographs, but we were within 100 feet of the deck, so it was a struggle for the photographer to keep us all still – Charlie and I were dancing the whole time. We only made it to the dance floor for our first dance (and I shared a brief “Freak Out” moment with his mom-hilarious photos of that are rolling in), but we were certainly dancing everywhere we went. All of our 220+ guests had a fabulous time and the dance floor was pretty full most of the time.

We would definitely use Baby Huey again and have actually had several people ask who they were and how to get in touch with them. There has been a lot of talk about how they were a band you could dance to and have a lot of fun with. If you’re interested, why don’t you put some of your business cards in the mail to me and we can pass them out (address below). These people are serious about their parties and good entertainment is always a must! If we have another party, they are exactly what we’d love to have again.

Baby Huey and the Babysitters knew exactly what to play ... from great jazz to swing, to learning a special first dance song for us, to their powerful soul and funk ... they’re just great ... they are the only band we considered for our wedding reception!
