Atlanta Party Band's name almost says it all but there's even more to know. Leader Charles Smith, a veteran musical-director in the Atlanta touring scene, has put together a group that is custom-tailored to bring an energetic, wow-factor to your event. Charles has a long history in Atlanta as the musical director for Monica, Blackstreet, Keith Sweat, Dru Hill, Beyonce, Ciara, and Omarion. Atlanta Party Band is a dynamic ten piece unit, with five singers out front: three girls and two guys, plus a five-piece band: multi-keyboards, guitar, drums, trumpet and saxophone. The beautiful ladies on the front-line are excellent vocalists with dance moves to match! The two guys are professional and experienced with incredible singing abilities. They have performed extensively overseas in Asia and Europe as well as touring with The Time, Stevie Wonder, Cameo, Jodece, KC & Jo-Jo and P-Diddy. Atlanta Party Band music features all the decades from the sophistication of the swing-era to the hot urban energy of today's hottest hits, with a special emphasis on the great party music of Motown, the seventies and eighties/nineties party rock.
They were great! Everyone enjoyed the music and thought the band was fantastic. They were great singers, chose a good selection of music and were very good at keeping the crowd engaged. Couldn't have asked for better. Thanks again for all of your help.

Sorry for the late response. We just got home from our honeymoon. The Atlanta Party Band was awesome!! That was all everyone was talking about that night. All of our guests wanted to know about them and how we found them. They were classy, fun, and entertaining all at the same time...exactly what we wanted (with incredible voices!). We will recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great band. Charles and his daughter were so easy to work with...they were very accommodating and we knew immediately upon meeting them that their main goal was to make sure we got what we wanted and to have fun. They all had a great attitude and seemed like they really enjoyed playing at our wedding.
Kevin and I are so happy with our choice for the band. We felt incredibly lucky to have found such a talented group of people. We wish them all the best and hope to hear them again in the future!

What a fabulous band!! We had the time of our lives and from watching our guests and hearing their comments, so did our guests. We attribute so much of the success of the evening to Charles and the Atlanta Party Band. At one time on the dance floor (and around the dance floor because we had to extend the space to accommadate everyone who wanted to dance) we had all age groups represented from my 87 year old mother down to our 14 month old grandniece! No one wanted to leave the dance floor because the music was so great and each suceeding song was better than the last.
I can't tell you enough how easy it was to work with Charles. He is such a gentleman and
so professional; he made it clear that he wanted us to be happy....and we certainly were.
We had so many people asking us all about the band and telling us how amazing they were.
Even some of the people working at the venue said the APB was the best band they had ever
heard.

We could not have been more pleased with the performance of the Atlanta Party Band at Catherine and Reeves's wedding this past Saturday. Everyone had such a great time! Many people have written to tell me how much they loved the band and the music. We loved every minute of it and we will recommend you all to everyone we know. The evening was fun and the energy was electrifying. You all engaged the crowd in every way, and Catherine and her friends had a ball being on stage with you! You all are SO talented and the song selections were perfect! "Don't Stop Believing" was a perfect way to end the night!

This email is way overdue and I apologize for the belated thank you! But I wanted to reach out to you and thank you and your band members for providing such AMAZING music for our wedding in DeBordieu on April 30th. Everyone mentioned how AWESOME y'all were and you guys kept everyone dancing until the end which was exactly what my husband and I wanted!! We couldn't have been more pleased with y'all!!
My dad's 65th bday is in 2 weeks and he keeps saying he wishes we would have had a videographer so he could capture all of your music you played! We didn't have one so I thought the next best thing would be to see if you would be willing to share your set list that you played that night so I can recapture all of those songs for my Dad and make him a CD? He just LOVED every song you played so am brainstorming ideas on how to recreate those memories for him.

I just wanted to tell you and your band what a FABULOUS job you did for Leah and Christian's wedding!!! Our banquet director at the Field Club said that there has never been such a good band playing for a function at our club! We all wanted a beautiful and meaningful ceremony, which we did get at the church. But at the reception, Leah and Christian wanted great music (this was my husband, Jim's, biggest desire for the party as wellJ) and for people to have a blast dancing. We are a dancing family (I did my best with a torn hamstring muscle!) and we thought you guys were the PERFECT band for that. We have received many thank you e-mails and letters in the last week and so many folks have mentioned what a fantastic band we hadJ Also, there was a picture of Leah and Christian, with a very short paragraph write-up on their wedding in the Observer, a local paper with a section on "Black Tie" events and socials (although we did not even know a photo or any information on the wedding would be in the paper). The article mentions that "guests were entertained by the Atlanta-based six-member group, The Atlanta Party Band". You can probably see it at www.yourobserver.com. Anyway, thank you, again. You were a big part of making last Saturday night a dream reception for our kids!

That band was incredible!! We have had calls asking for the band and so we're giving them your name at EastCoast. Those girls and the entire band really got the group up and going. The only disappointment was when they stopped playing. Charles personally spoke to Steve and I after the reception - incredible man. I can't say enough about the band. I was worried about having everything they wanted and Charles was so sweet about calming me down and assuring me that things were fine. They were delightful from the time they arrived until they backed out of the driveway. They got down on the dance floor and involved the party animals, and allowed a few people to sing. I just wanted to let you know how pleased my clients and I were with Atlanta Party Band on September 5th. We had new songs for them to learn which they did perfectly and without issue. The venue for the reception changed three weeks before the wedding which was really stressful. Charles assured me that they were fine with the change and were so accommodating. He was in constant contact with me and I never doubted that they would be there and be wonderful. Atlanta Party Band was so entertaining that the bride didn't leave the dance floor for the last two hours of her reception!
