In the diverse music scene of Richmond, VA, Stonebrook Moonshine has developed a style that music fans are rallying around. Their raw, vintage rock sound and gritty funk undertones have been drawing crowds all over the city. Some come to dance, others to get a better listen to the infectious groove provided by the band while solos soar to intoxicating heights.

Each member of this four-piece rock band brings something special to the table. Bassist Drew Kisamore and keyboardist Joel Ingram have known each other since high School and have been playing together for over seven years. A chance meeting between Drew and Steven Boone brought the three together to play acoustic shows with screaming guitar solos. The crowds loved it and a bond was formed. With a chemistry that lead to instant creation of fresh, new original material, Stonebrook Moonshine was born and a drummer was immediately sought out. Enter Terrence Kelleher. When the band advertised the open drummer position, they never expected to find one of his caliber, and never on the first try. But with the addition of Terrence on drums, the band was complete. They immediately gained momentum and material, playing blues rock originals with a classic sound and plenty of rock covers with a unique twist.

With roots in Kentucky, Virginia, and Massachusetts, Stonebrook Moonshine feels vintage, yet modern. They sound soulful, yet raw as they settle into the pocket and build the intensity to a fever pitch. They are a true Rock & Roll band, but their shades of jazz and funk influences ensure they have a sound all their own.

Wherever Stonebrook Moonshine plays, you can expect crowds to gather. Not everyone will be there for the same reasons, but they are all drawn to the fire, the grit and the groove of Stonebrook Moonshine.

College Event

Graham - As far as our party goes, I have to say your suggestion was absolutely spot-on. I had countless people tell me how good the band was and how much they enjoyed it. They were really professional but really fun at the same time. Their sound/talent/stage presence seemed much much bigger than our small living room and budget would seem to allow. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for any party going forward, and I really hope these guys make it big if that's what they're going for.

They were great for the atmosphere, really satisfied our picky crowd, and were great to work with too. Thanks,

Fraternity Social

Graham - We had a great time. Stonebrook killed it and we are definately interested in having them again. I would highly reccomend them to other fraternities, and many that were there already expressed interest in having them.

Graham - We had an incredible time, and the band was a big part of that. They were phenomenal. The party is always awesome, but I have never seen a crowd like that on the porch. It was packed up to the front row and everyone there was rocking out and smiling like they just won the lottery. I'm glad you got the chance to come by and see them in action.

The band had some serious talent and they were very easy to work with. I hung out with the lead guy between the set lists and we would talk about what they were playing next, which was great. Everyone who came to the party had great things to say about them. I have to run it by some other people first, but I think we might want to have them back for crawfish.

Graham - I want to thank you for your help in securing our act for Sunday Lawnparties this year. You were instrumental in the process and the day would not have been the same without your hard work. As for Stonebrook itself, I heard a lot of comments that the band sounded great. They came on time and played the full show even though most people had left after the first hour. Their talent was really evident. The other officers thought they were nice and easy to work with. Overall, we really enjoyed having them. Best,
