Rufus Hawkins Band

In addition to their memorable music, Rufus Hawkins is known for their energetic and entertaining live shows.  Since forming in January of 2007, the band has played more than 90 shows on college campuses and in cities across the southeast.  This experience has allowed them create a set list that is geared towards the party scene. The band covers classic rock legends such as Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones, as well as more recent acts such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, and Sublime.  The band continues to add crowd favorites to the set list and provides an exciting alternative to the monotony of generic 80's cover bands.

Rufus Hawkins now looks toward an exciting fall and the release of their first album.  With stops in Baton Rouge, Atlanta, and numerous cities in between, the band will continue to expand its geographic presence.  As for now, Rufus Hawkins will do what they do best, and continue to gain fans along the way.
