For countless happy clients, Mr. Potato Head has been taking parties everywhere to the next level. Hire this extremely talented seven-piece band, that includes a full horn section, and you're sure to earn cool points with your guests! Whether you're looking for a killer band that hits it vocally and musically, or a fun, interactive group that doesn't remind you of a typical wedding band, MPH is the perfect match for you. Have a space issue at your venue? No problem. Mr. Potato Head can also perform as a four piece band without the horns. The scaled-down four-piece core members sing and harmonize as well as they play, and listeners often comment, "I can't believe this much sound is coming from these guys!"

Performing many of the all-time greatest songs, Mr. Potato Head can deliver Sinatra with the sophistication of the jazz greats, or play The Jackson Five with the same infectious groove as Motown's Funk Brothers. When covering artists like Bruce Springsteen or The Rolling Stones, their energy has a rawness reminiscent of the punk era. During "Holiday," you may do a double take to see if Madonna just made a guest appearance! Mr. Potato Head's repertoire contains an unusually wide range of material, including many unpredictable songs that will add to the uniqueness of your occasion. From yesterday's classics to some of today's current hits, Mr. Potato Head can do it all.

This band has a long history of providing exceptional musical entertainment, in part, by having always associated itself with top-notch players. Individually and collectively, current members of Mr. Potato Head have performed, recorded or toured with some of the most renowned musical artists in the world. That list would include a 12 year stint with James Brown; performances with Michael Jackson, Dave Matthews Band, Lenny Kravitz, Earl Slick; tours with Judie Tzuke, David Ball, C.J. Chenier and the Red Hot Louisiana Band; and more than a year with Ben Folds. Mr. Potato Head horn players have performed countless concerts with The Four Tops, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Tony Bennett and Kenny Chesney. Mr. Potato Head alumni have gone on to become integral members of the recording/touring acts: Sting, Gavin DeGraw, Regina Spektor, Avril Lavigne, Jack Ingram, Little Big Town and more. In 1993, three original members of Mr. Potato Head were signed to Sony/Columbia as the band, "Dag," who recorded two critically acclaimed albums for Columbia Records and spent several years touring the US, Europe and Japan. Influenced by so many unique experiences, Mr. Potato Head's brand of entertainment is anything but typical. So, for the most memorable night of your life, book Mr. Potato Head today!!!

American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Gala

Wow! Talk about a great night! Mr. Potato Head really made our event outstanding.  In fact guests are still talking about what a fun night it was.

Not only are the musicians outstanding, the song repertoire is excellent. They can play many songs that other bands do not even dare to cover! The band knows how to get the crowd up and dancing and I think all 150 people in attendance at the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Presidents' Dinner was on their feet having a blast. There were so many people dancing the staff had to move the tables back to make more room on the dance floor!

Mr. Potato Head made the evening and I would give them my highest recommendation. You simply can't get a better band!

The band was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better night and Mr. Potato Head was a major part of making the wedding a success. Thank you for making the process easy :-) I will be recommending you for all major events

Mr. Potato Head was AWESOME at our wedding. We really couldn't have asked for more. We got a ton of compliments on the music and the flow of the event was great.

We will be recommending them to our friends and wouldn't be surprised if some of our single friends ask for them when they eventually get married.

Thanks again for everything!

Thanks so much for helping us book them. They were unbelievable and we had the best time. The band was easy to work with and they were one of the best if not the best wedding band I've ever seen. Thank you again and we look forward to catching up next weekend at Thomas' wedding. Please relay to Mr. Potato Head that we really had a great time.

All the best,

We searched through hundreds of bands to find Mr. Potato Head. I contacted every booking agent on the east coast that serviced Charlottesville. There were few bands if any that had close to their amazing singing voices and musicianship but none that came close to matching their versatility and song list (which is amazingly solid) covering the classics (like you have to for a wedding) but having plenty of out of the ordinary songs that allowed them to personalize the evening to our tastes.

On the actual night we were all blown away. They really know how to work a crowd, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. Just as an example our photographer was suppose to leave at 9 but stuck around for 2 more hours, just to listen to them play. When their last set finished and I took the mic to say goodnight, our guests would have none of it, they wanted more Mr. Potato Head and despite the fact that they had a 3hr drive ahead of them they played a three song encore. It was amazing.

Also they nailed our wedding song (and learned another song for the mother-son dance at no charge). I could go on, but who wants to read a long review, you can't go wrong with these guys!

Many thanks for the phenomenal job that you did performing at our daughter's wedding. You were professional and talented. Kaley and Jeff's desire was to have a band that could keep people dancing and enjoying the reception. That was definitely accomplished! Everyone danced and love it! You were also gracious to allow Jeff to "show off" a little, which really help personalize the evening.

Many thanks!

We had an awesome time - I wish I had $100 for each time someone has dropped by my office to tell me what a great time they had at the Gala and how much they enjoyed having Mr. Potato Head.

You guys were, I dare say, the best wedding band of all time! While your promotional video doesn't nearly do you the justice that you deserve, we could tell upon first viewing that Mr. Potato Head would offer the kind of musical variety we were looking for. So many people have remarked that they couldn't remember the last wedding they attended in which everybody seemed to be having such a good time. From Al Green to Neil Diamond, from reggae to funk, we felt like the evening's entertainment had been tailor-fit to our particular musical tastes, and for that we?ll be forever appreciative. Though our praise may appear a bit over-the-top, the choice of a band for our wedding was one of the only decisions left completely up to us. And since we both love music and enjoy getting out on the dance floor, we knew that a very special band was not only necessary, but essential. Not only did Mr. Potato Head perform to our expectations, you exceeded them about ten minutes into the evening. So thank you so much, not only for being such an incredible group of performers, but for being such a genuinely nice, inviting, and accommodating group of people.

I just wanted to say what a great time I, and everyone else, had Saturday night! We have been doing that event for years now and I swear it has never been that much fun and I think that was all due to you guys! Mr. Potato Head were absolutely amazing!!!!! We got so many compliments on them and they were just perfect! So easy to work with and everyone had a great time! My only issue was I got stuck doing "wedding" stuff and all I wanted to do was jam out to the band. I honestly went to their website to see if they did any shows, b/c I would definitely go check them out.

They were just perfect and really made our day special. Thank you so much for helping us find the perfect band!

I do not know if praise can do justice. The Mr. Potato Head was perfect! Everything we hoped for and more. Every song was played with excellence, including the requested songs for the first dance, father/daughter dance and mother/son dance and fun aspects, such as, the tossing of the bouquet and garter toss. You gave us a tremendous recommendation and I thank you very much for your help. I believe Bethany has the groups email address so we will send our regards to them, but next time you are in contact please send my Many Thanks! East Coast Entertainment and Mr. Potato Head will be at the top of our recommendation list, as well as, any future events we may have.

Thank you,

I cannot begin to tell you how awesome Mr. Potato Head was!! We had compliments from the guests all night. To give you an example, the band played music during dinner and we had someone say they thought we were playing music over speakers. He could not believe it was a live band. My daughter and her fiance requested a new song for the first dance, "Swept Away" by the Avett Brothers. The bride and groom thought they sang it better than the original artists. They kept the crowd going all night. Everyone wanted to know where we found them! I said you of course. Thank you so much for suggesting Mr. Potato Head. Unbelievable group of artists!!! Truly talented musicians. Thanks
