Ken Knox has been entertaining audiences with top of the class music and showmanship for over four decades. The former member of the Chairmen of the Board, whose legacy was built by the late Grammy Award winner General Johnson continues today with Ken Knox & Company (KCO). KCO brings a high energy, high impact show filled with great Pop, R&B and classic beach music hits. Ken was a part of well-known beach hits including the everlasting "Carolina Girls", "Id Rather be in Carolina", "On the Beach" and the infectious " Gone Fishin" . Ken Knox & Company is supported by a full rhythm section and a 3 piece horn line called The Executives. In September 2011 Ken Knox, Thomas Hunter and Richie Figueroa released their latest hit, "You". This contemporary POP/R&B hit has topped the Carolina Beach Music radio charts at #1 and continues to gain recognition both on the air waves and live audiences up and down the East Coast. In 2012, the Band performed for the DNC, Carolina Panthers Half Time show and in early 2013, KCO was summoned to perform for the North Carolina Governors Inauguration Concert to a very enthusiastic audience. |
