Fueled by original songwriting, award winning musicianship, and exhilarating bluegrass instrumentation, Jackass Flats epitomizes the new generation of acoustic string bands who combine creativity and tradition to produce something all together unique.  Jackass Flats has shared the stage with national acts like the Del McCoury Band, Ricky Skaggs, Leftover Salmon, King Wilkie, The Tony Rice Unit, The Sam Bush Band, and Southern Culture on the Skids. The typical show will find the band picking through their original music, bluegrass standards, and creative interpretations of class rock tunes from artists like the Allman Brothers to the Beatles, all the while energizing audiences with the kind of fun that can only be had by a group of people who are doing what they love.
