"The Honky Tonk Rangers" is a classic variety band with a repitiore of songs designed to suit the music tastes of all ages. Our song list dates back as far as 1950's classics such "Hound Dog" to Prince's "Purple Rain" or Hank Williams Jr's "All My Rowdy Friends". "The Honky Tonk Rangers" are at home playing country, classic rock, blues, and more. The focal point lies on the extraordinary guitar playing and smooth vocals of Phil Coley and the best steel guitar playing found anywhere, created by Tommy Dodd. The band has a solid foundation with Mike Vance on bass guitar, and Russell Daniel on the drums. Phil and Russell have been playing together since before "The Beatles" broke up. They last played in a popular country rock group called "Watusi Rodeo" for twenty years. The band has many years of experience playing many different types of shows and parties. No event is too big or to small. |
