GrooveTown performed for my wedding and they were better than I ever could have imagined. Everything was spot-on: Their professionalism, sound, song choices, sound level and balance were perfect. Along with music for the reception, we also had Groovetown play a jazz set for our cocktail hour. We couldn't have hired a better jazz group, and GrooveTown's ability to effortlessly flow from jazz to dance music saved us a ton of headache by not having to hire a second ensemble. I can honestly say that they are the best wedding band I ever have heard. GrooveTown was youthful, yet professional, played old classics and new hits that any age could enjoy.

First of all, sorry this email is so late! Nick and I just want to thank you and Groovetown for a fantastic performance at our wedding! I know you guys had a lot of different directions coming in but we were so happy with how flexible and accommodating you all were! You guys did a great job all night and I know Nick was so happy with the songs that you guys sang! We couldn't keep our guests in their seats! We really enjoyed having you guys on our big day!

I cannot put into words how happy we were with Groovetown. They made our wedding so much more special and amazing. Every single guest told us that it was the best part of our wedding.
Steve - Thank you so much! I can't tell you enough what an amazing experience we had with Groovetown! They were everything I had hoped for and more! Chris thanks for the gig man here was the outcome !!! You line em up we will keep slayin em !!! Groovetown played for our daughter's wedding September 10, 2011, and they were absolutely fantastic!!! We randomly picked this band with the help of our wedding planners suggested this band so we really didn't know what to expect. They surpassed all expectations. Everyone danced for 3 straight hours....NO intermission....and it was so much fun. I would highly recommend them for weddings and other occasions. Not only was the music terrific, the vocalists and musicians were so entertaining and definitely played to the crowd offering a wide range of music. They accepted requests and played them which really impressed me and the young people loved it. They were worth every dime and would definitely have them again.

Hey Scott - Everything went great! The band was wonderful and really did a great job! They definitely kept the party going and were great about letting the girls dance on stage and even one of our friends jump on the piano and play with them. Groovetown couldn't have been more professional. Their set list was amazing with music from all genres and the combination of instruments they use made it music for all to enjoy! I don't think I've danced that hard in a long time. Not only professional but they couldn't have been more easy to work with! I would recommend them for any formal, party or event. Let's do it again dude!
Hi Brandon, I hope you guys are doing well. I apologize for taking so long to get back to you. It's been a busy few weeks. Let me start by saying that I have absolutely no doubt that no other band (well, possibly Aerosmith) would have made our wedding night any better. A pretty good indication is that many people that weren't even at the wedding have been telling me that they heard what a great band we had. You guys were incredibly versatile musically (thanks for Smoke On The Water and I am so, so sorry for The Chicken Dance). The wide selection of songs you covered were perfect, not only for the occasion, but to appease everybody's musical tastes. This affected me particulary because I was stressed about selecting the song list before the wedding. I was happy to turn that duty over to you guys, and I was ecstatic with the results. You had an amazing way of making everybody in the wedding feel comfortable and involved. Everytime I looked up you guys were interacting with people and watching them smile and laugh made the night that much better. The video of my wife's 90 year old grandmother dancing the whole night is proof enough. By the end of the night, I felt like I'd known all of you for a long time which made me appreciate you guys that much more. Thanks for an incredible experience. My wife and I are certain that the night was perfect largely due to you guys.
Every single request was honored and they were more than happy to listen to requests from the audience and to shake things up. The MOST flexible and responsive band that we have worked with to date. (I) canncot say enough positive things about the band ... they were excellent; kept the excitement going, listened to the audience, bonded with the folks on the dance floor and made everybody smile. They were THE PERFECT party band. Just a great mix. Men, women, dancers, non-dancers all loved them. People who hadn't danced in years were on the floor. Unbelievable.
WOW, in the past few weeks we have gotten TONS of compliments on your performance. YOU ALL WERE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had an incredible time and so did everyone else .... everyone RAVED about you and your music. My photographers came up to me during the reception to ask who you were as they have heard LOTS of bands, and said they had never heard a group as great as you all. You knew how to keep the crowd interested ... you knew exactly what kind of songs to play. Rodney and I wished we could have danced all night as you all were so great and SO MUCH FUN!!!! We cannot put into words how totally amazing you were. Our families sincerely appreciate the job you did. You all were most professional, fun and sounded amazing!!! Please express our sincere gratitude to everyone in the band!!! Because of your performance our wedding reception was everything we envisioned it would be. You all were a hit. Anyway, our sincere thanks for making our wedding reception most memorable. I hope that friends of ours in the future will use you at their events as my family and I will be highly recommending you to others!!!!
We could not have been more pleased with GrooveTown. They were great to work with ahead of time (I emailed with Lee Johnson several times) and on the day of. They sounded great and played a good variety of music within the guidelines of genres that I asked for. They really kept everyone dancing the entire time, and several people complimented them or asked me who they were during the reception. I was impressed that they only required one break during the evening, which helped to keep the dance floor full. We really have only positive things to say about GrooveTown -- they made our reception a success.

Our song list is so versatile that we can play whole shows in one genre of music or play everything from the 40's to today. GrooveTown shows are nonstop music from beginning to end with plenty of choreography and crowd participation. There is not a show that we cannot handle , whether big or small GrooveTown band will help to make your event one to remember.
We will go the extra mile to make sure that you have the entertainment that you want including attire! We can dress in anything from formal suits to 70's funky to flashy motown or whatever you want the band at your event to look like. We can also add a female vocalist to the band upon request.
GrooveTown is different than many other party/cover bands because we're not that cheesy, boring, cover band that everybody hears at a lot of events. Every member of GrooveTown is an artist and incredible musician so you are not going to hear a whole show of boring cover tunes performed by amateurish musicians. Instead, you are going to get a group of very talented artists playing everybody's favorite tunes who know how to get any crowd going or any party started!
