Born and raised in Wilson, Wes has always been a music fan and appreciated musicianship. Wes was involved with music at an early age by being involved with school music programs for nearly 8 years. After attending college at NC State for 2 years he started as a part-time DJ for one of Raleigh hottest college bars on Hillsborough Street, “The Cantina” After winning the position full time he continue to DJ more often and for more events private and public alike. That was in 1999, so many years later he is better then ever. He has performed in public venues such as “Time” (Raleigh, NC), “The Cantina” (Raleigh, NC), “Foster’s” (Raleigh, NC), “Lucky B’s” (Raleigh, NC), “19th Hole” (Rocky Mount, NC), and others. Wes also does about 25 private events during a years time including everything from birthday parties for all ages, proms, anniversaries, and weddings. Wes also does a large variety of college events for college such as Duke University, UNC, NC State, Wake Forest, Davidson, Barton College, ECU, and many others. Spinning music from all generations and genres as well as keeping up with the latest hits, DJ Wes Williams is always a crowd pleaser.
