When leader, Dick Smith, came off tour with Earth, Wind and Fire and later Kenny Loggins, he realized that all the great musicians play with all the great national acts all over the world. He thought, "Wouldn't it be cool to hand pick these great players from national acts and put together an all star band of my own?"
Well, his dream has come true! Meet The Celebrity AllStars...an accumulation of years of research and relationship building to create the greatest all star cast of musicians ever assembled now available to play for you!!!!
In assembling this great talent, Dick wanted a mission statement that summed up the essence of what the band was all about. He wanted clients to understand this was a party/dance band with musicians from national acts and not an act putting on a concert. Deliberating, he chose a hook that sums up the essence of what the band is all about...."Everybody Cut Loose."
So, now you have it, the greatest musicians from the greatest national acts, assembled for one reason. To make sure you and your guests have a great time!!

RICHARD SMITH - A multi-award winning composer, songwriter/producer, THE CELEBRITY ALLSTARS creator Richard Smith has won two Emmys, a national Addie award, a Pinnicle award, a Cindy award by the Association of Visual Communications and the recipient of a Silver medal for the highly coveted New York and Advertising Festival. As a songwriter, he's been nominated for a cable Ace award for Best Original song alongside names like Kenny Loggins and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Richard also earned a New York Film Festival Award for Best Original Song and Lyrics. Prior to entering the world of music production, Richard weathered several world tours as lead guitarist for EARTH, WIND AND FIRE, KENNY LOGGINS, and AIR SUPPLY, as well as international acts like EMMANUEL and French Pop Star MICHAEL POLNAREFF.

Brent Carter - Brent is one of America's foremost vocalists. His voice wraps around the audience's collective heart making it virtually impossible to leave without being touched. Early on he landed the role of Gabriel in Broadway's SHENANDOAH as well as performing at the APOLLO THEATRE, THE ARSENIO HALL AND TONIGHT SHOW. He has toured with BEBE AND CECE WINANS, B.B. KING AND REGINA BELL magnificently replacing Peabo Bryson in the "A Whole New World " duet. In 1995 he became the lead vocalist of TOWER OF POWER and recorded three albums including TOWER OR POWER LIVE recording such great hits as "What is Hip " and "You're Still a Young Man."
John Roberts - Originally from Chicago, John aka "Lil John" is simply one of the best there is. He is a world class drummer having played with some of the most influential fusion greats ever including GEORGE DUKE and STANLEY CLARKE. He has also toured and recorded with Pop stars like JANET JACKSON, NORAH JONES,JOSS STONE and SHEILA E. having spent several years working in Los Angeles. He now calls Atlanta, GA home.
Daryl Smith - Daryl is a multi-talented keyboardist/writer/producer having performed as musical director for such greats as STEVIE NICKS, K.D. LANG and JANET JACKSON. He has also toured and or recorded with FLEETWOOD MAC, BETTE MIDLER and PAULA ABDUL. In addition he has written and produced for Jazz artist BONEY JAMES scoring the #1 Jazz sales album of 2002.
Sam Simms - Bassist for the Celebrity All Stars is a long time music industry veteran having roued or recorded with JANET JACKSON, MARIAH CAREY, K.D. LANG, QUINCY JONES, PAUL ABDUL, BACK STREET BOYS ,SHEENA EASTON, JEFFERY OSBOURNE as well as jazz legends like THE CRUSADERS and STANLEY CLARKE. His television appearances include the TONIGHT SHOW with JAY LENO, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, DAVID LETTERMAN, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, SOUL TRAIN, THE ROSIE O'DONNELL SHOW and the ARSENIO HALL SHOW. Sam originally hails from Chattanooga, TN but when not on tour he calls Atlanta, Georgia home.
Kim Fleming - A classically trained vocalist from Nashville who thought she was destined to be an opera singer but did go on to become one of the most sought after vocalists in the pop music biz. She has toured and or recorded with some of the biggest stars in the music industry. Kim's credits are as diverse as they are numerous and include, STEVIE WONDER, TONY BENNET, KEITH RICHARDS, GEORGE HARRISON, WILLIE NELSON, BETTE MIDLER, WYNONNA JUDD, MICHAEL BOLTON, GARTH BROOKS, VINCE GILL and BILLY JOEL. You can hear Kim's vocals on new album releases from, TRISHA YEARWOOD, PAUL SIMON, THE MOTLEY CREW, ARETHA FRANKLIN, TIM MCGRAW and the list goes on & on.
Cindy Shelton - A firm believer in Patsy Cline's saying, "Girl, ya got to run y'own life", Cindy is a North Carolina native, but moved to Nashville and worked at Opryland USA at a very young age. She later had a rock band called JADE but failed to get a major record deal, so the band disbanded. Moving into the corporate scene, she has been on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO, GRAND OL OPRY, CMA AWARDS, THE RYAN SEACREST SHOW, etc. She has toured or recorded with ALABAMA, LORRIE MORGAN, LEE ANN WOMACK and SARA EVANS. Working around the clock in Nashville these days, she has made music her life.

Richard,
Randolph and I had The Best Time at our wedding reception. I'm pretty sure a lot of my friends thought they were at an actual Journey/Adele/Lynyrd Skynyrd concert and the pictures are PRICELESS. Everyone asked about you guys and commented that the Band and the food were outstanding. The only really disappointing part was when the night ended and we had to leave.
Obviously, having the opportunity to play some music with you guys was a highlight for my brother Sam and it was certainly a highlight for my sister Lauren and me as well (I wish we had remembered capos since the key of E was a little low...) It was very cool of you to learn The Weight so we could play with you.

CAS even sang a song for Kim and Mike after everyone left. It was really cute - they had the whole dance floor & tent to themselves! Anyway, I will definitely recommend CAS again! Bands like that make my job so much easier!

I wanted you to know how unbelievably pleased I was with The Celebrity All Star Band. They by far exceeded my expectations and were absolutely one of the most important factors in making the party the huge success that it was. They were AMAZING!!! Richard was a true pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend him for any function in the future. Even though we were on a short time frame, he worked with me every step of the way on custom song list selection and flow of the evening and all other important details.
Richard stayed in close communication with me and was absolutely wonderful to work with! I have had three other couples from the reception contact me for the band's information for when the time is right for them! Hi Kevin,
Wes and I wanted to write you to let you know how absolutely blown away by the Celebrity All-Stars at our wedding thus past Saturday. They were phenomenal!! Absolutely first class entertainment. People were amazed at their energy, talent and engagement with the crowd. They 100% made the party and kept it going to the very end.
They nailed the set list (paid close attention to what we had selected from the style list) and if they took a break (maybe 1 very short one?) no one noticed -- which is often an issue with wedding bands.
The dancing, singing and quality of music, lighting and the whole package was absolutely incredible. Our friends and family can't stop raving. Wes and I came to EastCoast Entertainment looking for the Heather Hayes Experience after seeing them a couple of times, and I can't believe I'm saying this because we were initially bummed they were booked on 5/18, but we think the Celebrity All-Stars were EVEN BETTER!!
Thanks so much for providing us with great memories that will last a lifetime. They really made our night perfect!!
