Fiction: In the winter of 1972, five high school friends from Detroit, Michigan, formed a band known as The Boogie Knights. The Boogie Knights immediately became the hottest dance band on the east coast, performing six nights a week to packed houses everywhere. Then in 1983, when disco died out, The Boogie Knights broke up to pursue other aspects of the music industry. Now, over ten years later, The Boogie Knights have reformed with all the original members to pay tribute to the great disco songs of the 70's.
