Blue Plantation is an acoustic string band with a diverse variety of authentic musical styles. These styles include Bluegrass, Irish, Folk, Country, Swing, and Jazz. They have created their own niche market and specialize in Wedding Ceremonies, Dinner Rehearsals, Oyster Roasts, Pig Pickins, Corporate Events, Festivals, Private Parties, Family Functions, and Local Music Venues.

The band is made up of four musicians with a wide background of musical experience and a high level of expertise. "About five years ago we hired the Blue Plantation Band for the Annual Georgetown
Wooden Boat Show. That first year it rained like crazy due to a tropical storm. The band
showed up on time, set up their gear under an insufficient 10 x 10 tent with no sides,
pulled out a tarp to attach to the back of the tent, and commenced to playing music.
Apparently that was not their first tropical storm. We have invited them back for every
boat show since. They are hardworking, professional, talented, and their musical style, a
little bluegrass, a little swing, a little jazz - is perfect for our event. I heartily recommend
Blue Plantation Band."

"We've been booking The Blue Plantation Band every year for over 10 years to play our annual
Harvest Festival at Mullet Haul Equestrian Center. Blue Plantations style of bluegrass gets people

"The Blue Plantation Band has got a great reputation locally. In fact, I heard about them
from someone in the community. They are easy to work with, very cooperative, willing
to accommodate our needs, and very professional. They're all excellent musicians and
have always provided great entertainment at our "Bluegrass By Design" party at the
Charleston Home + Design Show on Daniel Island at The Family Circle Cup Stadium."

"The Blue Plantation Band participated in an event celebrating Water Missions
International's new facility in North Charleston, SC. They kept the event lively and were
a huge hit with the attendees. Their willingness to be flexible and adjust plans to meet
our needs was incredibly valuable in planning the busy schedule of events. They were
the perfect entertainment to help us celebrate and we will certainly use them for future
events!"

"The Blue Plantation Band played during the cocktail hour of our wedding reception at the
Charleston Visitors Center. My husband and I wanted to surprise our guests with a
bluegrass band, and we couldn't have found a better group. The guys played an acoustic
set and our guests continue to tell us what a great addition to our wedding they were.
They set the tone for the rest of the night and we were so happy we decided to book them.
They were easy to communicate with and everything was seamless the night of the
wedding. We highly recommend the Blue Plantation Band!"

"We used the Blue Plantation Band for our reception music this February and they were so
fabulous! It ended up raining so we had to move everyone in the building and they were
super flexible about moving around. Aaron was great working with before the wedding.
He always got back to me if I had any questions. The band showed up right on time and
were very friendly. We still have people talking about them :) I highly recommend the
Blue Plantation Band if you are looking for a talented bluegrass band for any event!"

"My wife Andrea and I had the good judgment to hire Blue Plantation to play at our
wedding. With my parents and a large part of my family hailing from the west of Ireland,
we asked the band to sprinkle in some Irish selections from their song list. They were
more than accommodating with our request. It inspired some spontaneous and joyous
dancing from my sisters and nephew, who are well-trained stepdancers. As a fellow
musician, I was impressed with their talent, professionalism, consistency and pleasant
nature. It added so much character and joy to our celebrations that day. I heard many
comments the night of the wedding and the days after about how GOOD they were! I
hope to see them play around the area next time we visit!"

"The Blue Plantation Band was (and actually continues to be, as friends and family still
mention) a true highlight of our wedding. The band was amazing, fun, and really beyond
perfect. I was a most happily upstaged bride. Not to mention they were the easiest part
of planning the entire wedding. I highly recommend the Blue Plantation Band!"
