Rapper/writer/producer Brian Walker's story is that of a true underground success. Falling in love with rap at age 12, after listening to the records of Sugar Hill Gang, Grandmaster Flash, and Tupac, he wrote his first raps in his basement with his brother and a family friend. He first gained recognition as battle rapper "Brian Walker," but once he adopted the moniker "B-Walk" and started to record his music, his career trajectory changed forever. B-Walk raps with the fury and precision of a seasoned battle rapper, but is also armed with a razor sharp wit and a merciless self-awareness that adds bite, intelligence and authenticity to his lyrics. His wit, and the analytical strengths that come with it, allow him to explore common hip-hop troupes and turn them on their head.
