Rick - Just wanted to let you know that the band was awesome Saturday night at my daughter's wedding reception. The dance floor stayed full up til the last song.Charles Smith called my daughter to make sure their "first dance" was exactly what she wanted. I was impressed. Every person at the reception said they were the best band they'd ever heard!

What a fabulous band!! We had the time of our lives and from watching our guests and hearing their comments, so did our guests. We attribute so much of the success of the evening to Charles and the Atlanta Party Band. At one time on the dance floor (and around the dance floor because we had to extend the space to accommodate everyone who wanted to dance) we had all age groups represented from my 87 year old mother down to our 14 month old grandniece! No one wanted to leave the dance floor because the music was so great and each succeeding song was better than the last.
I can't tell you enough how easy it was to work with Charles. He is such a gentleman and so professional; he made it clear that he wanted us to be happy....and we certainly were. We had so many people asking us all about the band and telling us how amazing they were. Even some of the people working at the venue said the APB was the best band they had ever heard. Thank you so much for helping to make this such a memorable and enjoyable event for us and our friends.

I believe they are my new favorite wedding band and you better believe I will be sending more brides your way in the future. Jacquie was absolutely thrilled and they helped create the "party" type atmosphere that she really wanted for her reception. Wow Charles - What a class act you are. I never expected such a beautiful thank-you note from you. Yes, I am still recovering. Had family here all day yesterday - and since they are from all over the country it was a blessing to visit with them for an extra day.
You and your band were just phenomenal - That seems to be what people have been talking about the most - and although most in my family have very little sense of rhythm, they love to dance and enjoyed every minute of the evening.
You were all so professional, and believe me you did accomplish what you set out to do - I felt The Point did a wonderful job in making the evening magical, but then you started playing and you were the icing on the cake - You made the evening go over the top of any ones expectations.
Michelle and Josh's wedding will be remembered for a long time. It was a great and magical evening, and you can take a lot of credit for that. Please let every member in the band know how much we appreciated them. Thank you so much,

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing, our guests did not stop raving about them. We've heard some really good bands in our lifetime this was tops. Vocals were incredible. It's not everyday I can see my 89 year old mother on the dance floor and really enjoy herself. They were so nice to work with. We didn't want the evening to end.

I just wanted to let you know how pleased my clients and I were with Atlanta Party Band on September 5th. We had new songs for them to learn which they did perfectly and without issue. The venue for the reception changed three weeks before the wedding which was really stressful. Charles assured me that they were fine with the change and were so accommodating. He was in constant contact with me and I never doubted that they would be there and be wonderful. Atlanta Party Band was so entertaining that the bride didn't leave the dance floor for the last two hours of her reception! I'm very excited to work with them again on future events. They are a great band for your company to represent. Thanks again!

Here is my feedback on the Atlanta Party Band: WOW! Worth every penny! The band absolutely transformed our wedding from a beautiful event into a downright extraordinary and unforgettable party. They were so thoughtful in really listening to our requests, playing to the crowd and keeping the energy unbelievably high and the crowd moving. I actually missed out on spending intimate time with my guests because I did not leave the dance floor. My feet were swollen and my legs were sore the next day from all the dancing. It was incredible. I'd love to have them follow me around for the rest of my life. UNREAL.

Where do I even begin?? Atlanta Party Band absolutely set the tone for our wedding. Beginning with a personal phone call from Charles before the wedding, letting me know that he had seen our first dance song selection (which I was originally planning to play on an iPod), and loved the old standard so much, that he would be honored to learn it and perform it live for us (at no charge or anything). I could already tell Charles was one of the most genuinely nice and thoughtful people that we were going to work with on our special day.
Then at the reception, the band nailed every musical style from A-Z. They played standards, oldies and motown to perfection, and rocked top 40 hits like nobody's business. Empire State of Mind was a particular hit with all the NYers. They gauged the crowd like professionals, and kept kicking things up a few notches as the night wore on. What's more, they literally handed me a mic, and let me get up on stage and sing 'Proud Mary' with them (I'm a musical theater performer by trade)...so that was incredible. They also learned a special song that my Mom had requested--at which point SHE got up on stage and started singing (hilarious!)
Literally everyone at the reception was asking who they were and where they were from--they were making that kind of impression! At the end of the night they did 2 encores, due to the fact that our guests wouldn't let them leave--everyone kept chanting "One More Song!" Charles came up to me and was like "We're happy to keep playing-just make sure we won't get in trouble with the venue!" They weren't sticklers on their end time at all!
I just cannot say enough good things--they are so incredibly talented, accommodating, and genuinely interested in putting on an amazing show. I would recommend them hands down to anyone looking to throw an unforgettable party.

What can I say? The band you chose for our Mardi Gras event, Atlanta Party Band, was just awesome. When the lights came on we still had over 250 still dancing and wanting more. That speaks volumes. I would be glad to recommend this band to anyone.

I had put such effort into the food/decor/little details...but ultimately it is the entertainment that is the life of the party. And they were! No complaints, only the highest of praise! My wedding planner spoke pre-wedding with Charles and though he was so nice and "uber professional."
Ask him about the bride doing Beyonce with the girls. Surely one of the more memorable moments of the evening.

APB was simply fantastic!! We couldn't have asked for a better band for Katie's wedding. They were so professional and on top of everything, they were such kind people. I would use them again in a heartbeat and will recommend you and them to others. Leader Charles Smith, a veteran musical-director in the Atlanta touring scene, has put together a group that is custom-tailored to bring an energetic, wow-factor to your event. Charles has a long history in Atlanta as the musical director for Monica, Blackstreet, Keith Sweat, Dru Hill, Beyonce, Ciara, and Omarion. Atlanta Party Band is a dynamic ten piece unit, with five singers out front: three girls and two guys, plus a five-piece band: multi-keyboards, guitar, drums, trumpet and saxophone. The beautiful ladies on the front-line are excellent vocalists with dance moves to match! The two guys are professional and experienced with incredible singing abilities. They have performed extensively overseas in Asia and Europe as well as touring with The Time, Stevie Wonder, Cameo, Jodece, KC & Jo-Jo and P-Diddy. Atlanta Party Band music features all the decades from the sophistication of the swing-era to the hot urban energy of today's hottest hits, with a special emphasis on the great party music of Motown, the seventies and eighties/nineties party rock.
