Wil Gravatt Band ARTIST ID: 6629
Starting from humble beginnings at a little Washington dive called Whitey's, the WGB built their fan base week by week as the house band. They would continue to perform the honky tonk style music that was missing in the DC area until the untimely closing of the famed nightclub in March of 2003.
After doing small tours and playing clubs, the Wil Gravatt Band was asked to join the Bush campaign to perform for rallies around the country, culminating with an incredible performance on election night at the Ronald Reagan Center (the official Republican election night party).
Wil sings lead vocals and plays guitar, Jimbo Bryam makes the steel guitar cry and moan, Nick McAlister holds down the bass guitar while soaring on harmonies, and Gary Crockett pounds out a backbeat like no other.
This band is a one-of-a-kind in their genre. Don't miss a chance to catch them live when you can.
