Uptown provides entertainment anywhere a group gathers to have fun and listen to good music. Uptown's unique style and rich sounds have been enjoyed by many including: The National Football League Association, TMW Realty Company, WATL-Channel 36, IBM, NAACP, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., WAGA-Channel 5, the National Black Arts Festival, Georgia Technical Institute of Technology Engineering Society, The National Pan Hellenic Council, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Some of Uptown's major highlights include their performance with Theo Peoples, the former lead singer with the Temptations. Theo is best known for his blockbuster hits, This Is My Promise and Stay. They performed in concert at Lake Lanier Island and for the City of Smyrna. The band performs every third and fourth Sunday at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Buckhead for their Sunday Brunch. Two other major performances include their performance as an opening act for National Recording Artist, Najee and they entertained the Tennessee Titans along with their families as a part of the 2000 Super Bowl Festivities. Often the success of an event depends on the quality of entertainment you select.
