It all started with the question: "What is the ultimate party band?" Of course the band would perform the greatest dance music of all time, but they would also put on a very visual show. The band must be versatile, able to appeal to a wide demographic, and be light hearted, but not disrespectful to music they perform.

Starting with a four piece rhythm section, Dick added a three piece horn section, five lead singers, three gorgeous violinists, and two dancers. Thus was born S.R.O. - all under the direction of Maestro Dick Bright.

Since late 1990, Dick Bright's S.R.O. has strived to become the ultimate party machine. The act is musically powerful, visually explosive, and by far the most exciting act to emerge from the San Fransico Bay area music scene in years.

Their repertoire ranges from Big Band standards and ballads, to smash dance hits currently topping the charts. Favorites from the 50's and 60's mix with disco hits and popular material from the 80's, 90's, and today. Glen Miller, Earth Wind & Fire, C&C Music Factory, Janet Jackson, and KC & The Sunshine Band may be featured in an evening's performance by S.R.O.
