Rosetta Stone was formed in 1988, under the direction of Bruce Sullivan. Highlights of their years together include touring eighteen different countries for the U.S. Government, performing aboard the world's largest cruise ship, the S.S. Norway, appearing at The Doral Hotel in Miami, and at Trump's Castle Casino in Atlantic City. Their musical repertoire spans everything from Cole Porter and George Gershwin to classics from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's to more contemporary music of today. With their emphasis on versatility, audience involvement, strong arrangements, and superb vocals, Rosetta Stone is an exciting and fun addition to any special event.

ROSETTA STONE IS:

Bruce Sullivan, band leader, keyboards and vocals, has performed for President Reagan and three Virginia Governors during his career. His playing and singing has been included on regional jingles and advertising promotions.

Desiree Roots Centeio is the daughter of the late Jimmy Roots, the well known pianist/singer from Virginia. From an early age she was surrounded by musicians and learned the Great American Songbook. She has toured nationally in New York productions and has been a staple in regional theater productions. She has performed at The Kennedy Center and is a recipient of the Pollack Award for outstanding vocal artistry in Virginia. A versatile singer and entertainer, she continues to charm and entertain audiences with her interpretations of soul, jazz, theatre, and pop music.

Randy Hedstrom - Bass and vocals. Randy lived and recorded in Nashville before performing with Thunder Road and then recording with Warner Brothers. He was also affiliated with Blackwater.

Ty Adcock - Drums/vocals. After completing the Armed Forces School of Music, Ty toured with the Toys, the Buckinghams, the McCoys and Ray Charles. More recently he toured with MCA recording artists Snuff and Warner Brothers affiliated Blackwater.

Bruce Nicholls- guitar and vocals. Generally regarded as the best guitarist in Central Virgina, he has performed with Chuck Berry, Dee Dee Sharp, Rufus Thomas, Mitzi Gaynor and more. His tasteful and versatile guitar work has also been featured on numerous regional jingles and commercial work.
