The Jack Winn-tet makes the effort to please the dancing and listening crowd with MUSIC THAT IS NEVER TOO LOUD FOR A CONVERSATION!

The JACK WINN-TET is a four-piece band consisting of Alto Sax-Vocals, Drums, Piano, and Bass. Their repertoire is extensive including standard selections from the thirties and forties, light rock, Latin, and other specials.

The JACK WINN-TET will add to your special parties and wedding receptions, and of course, dances. They have performed for numerous private functions to include: wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, corporate parties, and reunions.

During the past 2 years the band has played many engagements for dining and early bar hours at local restaurants in the Richmond area.

Originally, Jack Winn formed The Jack Winn-tet in the early 60's, and reformed it after his retirement as Supervisor of Performing Arts in a major school system. Upon reflecting back to sounds of jazz and old standards that were popular when he was a college music major, he was encouraged by many to bring back that sound for audiences today. The effort was made, and the musicians were found who capture the beat and mood with finesse to make the band's music satisfying to the dancer and the listener.
