An eight-member band of classical- and jazz-trained instrumentalists and vocalists at its core, The Fuzz Band truly knows no limits in music, garnering such diverse state- and nationwide awards as "Best Live Band", "Best Rock Band," "Best Hip-Hop/R&B Band" and even "Best Jazz Band" in the Capital Jazz Fest's first such nationwide competition in 2005. The Fuzz Band has rocked sold-out crowds with Grammy-winning artists such as Alicia Keys, Outkast, Jill Scott, and were featured guests on Lauryn Hill's first concert tour since her Miseducation LP altered the face of music in 1998. In 2006, The passport-ready Fuzz Band toured internationally with the USO, bringing music to US troops stationed in Iraq, Kuwait, Dubai, and a New Year's Eve 2007 performance in London. They have performed at events for several notable clients, including Virginia's Governor Mark Warner, NBA standout Allen Iverson, fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger, and NFL star Bruce Smith.
