The Casablanca Orchestra is a powerful, well rehearsed 18 piece Big Band. Our Professionally staffed instrumentation includes piano, drums, bass, guitar, 4 trombones, and saxophones. To complement this instrumental ensemble, we are pleased to feature one of the top female vocalists in the area - Ms. Debbie Bennett. Her vocal stylings, reminiscent of great singers such as Ella Fitzgerald and Rosemary Clooney, and contemporaries Linda Ronstadt, Whitney Houston and Natalie Cole, add that special touch of class to our musical presentation.Our repertoire of over 300 songs includes many Big Band Swing, Jazz, Latin and Blues standards form the 40’s to the 90’s, by such greats as Count Basie, Woody Herman, Glen Miller, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton and contemporaries That Jones and Harry Connick Jr. In addition, we feature Pop and Beach music, Rock and Roll “Oldies” and a number of our own original Big band arrangements. This variety has enabled us to be successful with all audiences, both young and old.
For more than two decades, the Casablanca Orchestra’s impressive sound and stage presence has delighted audiences from Governors to college students across the Southeast with performances to remember!
