Fiction: In the winter of 1972, five high school friends from Detroit, Michigan, formed a band known as The Boogie Knights. The Boogie Knights immediately became the hottest dance band on the east coast, performing six nights a week to packed houses everywhere. Then in 1983, when disco died out, The Boogie Knights broke up to pursue other aspects of the music industry. Now, over ten years later, The Boogie Knights have reformed with all the original members to pay tribute to the great disco songs of the 70's.

Fact:In the winter of 1992, five demented L.A. musicians formed The Boogie Knights to pay tribute to the funky sounds of the 70's, complete with polyester suits, John Travolta dance moves and eight-inch afros. The Boogie Knights show has been described as hillariously creative and surprisingly authentic with superb vocals and outstanding musicianship. The Boogie Knights are an entertaining alternative. So, "Dance with the boogie, get down. "Cause The Boogie Knights are always the best in town."
